Skylights
As she felt the room closing in
She prayed for the end of her diminishing
She did not know how did it begin
Was always good not free of sin
She'd hear her fathers's voice instead
The memories brought from the dead
Finding it hard to move along
That voice still sounded rough and strong
Her sister tried to save her soul
Admonishing her to take hold greater hold
To not lie down and give up fight
To look up high towards the skylight
That light does not always beckon the dead
It's light a guide to not misstep
That breath you breath many a soul
Envy it when light goes dull
So close your eyes but don't forget
Your life is long not ended yet
When you feel fragile in your plight
Look above take in skylights
