Sleep Mode

The behemoth lies dormant,
unmoved by the vagaries of time
Resting always in the technology of humans
Kingdoms rise
and nations fall
Yet the leviathan is oblivious to it all
Although he feeds on the souls
of those buried in his dens of corruption,
he return always to hibernate, yea, to sleep
Waiting only for that Wicked One to come,
that evil, perfidious son,
who will give mankind the mark of damnation
And when the son of perdition arrives,
woe to you who are alive,
for the beast will awaken from his slumber
But the final battle has been foretold
by all of the prophets of old
The warning came as the world was in sleep mode
You were warned in your dreams,
you were told what your dreams mean
Open your ears and start listening!
You were warned in your dreams,
you were shown what your dreams mean
Open your eyes and start believing!
