Sleep My Child, Sleep

All alone in this room
She cries, softly cries.
All alone in this room
She hides many lies.
The curtain rolls back
To reveal her sudden fear.
She hides in the covers
And lets out a tear.
Please, little Princess,
Give me your hand.
Let me read you a story;
That's all that we planned.
I'll read you about at the meadows,
How the mountains are so steep.
Then I'll kiss your little angel face
So you can sleep my child, sleep.
