You see that smile?
Yeah it's fake.
Last night she cried
and laid awake.

Wishing and hoping
that maybe someday
she'd have the nerve
to run away.

Verbally and physically
extremely abused,
her delicate sole
has been miss-used.

She blames herself
and punishes to o.
All the pain she hides
if only you knew.

That smile she wares
is a mask you see,
and that girl over there
well, it's me.
