Smooth Sailing

Pink sugar blossoms sail the Sea
The ones who know
Will not question,
And the ones who don’t
Will proceed to
No matter,
I believe therefore I speak
Will I see you in Heaven
When my vessel is called West
Remembering my poetry
Recognizing my words
Rejoicing in my heart and thoughts
As my beautiful ship corrodes to filth
But O’ thy death will be defeated
By the hands of my true Father
In a grip that is strong
Yet somehow comforting
