Snail Mail Love Affair

By Wells    Wells

Upon my heart a distance would ravage
Long and tough and burdened
For a time we did walk so closely
Me and the misses Savage
Now that only lyrics could be be worded
at least this was so only mostly
Free still to scream and dream together
A price to pay though costly
Would be paid whether or nether
Bills or bonds be posted
Even when the air becomes frosty
Thick and heavy like old baggage
Love is catered and never ousted
At least for me and the misses Savage
