Snake Pit

I saw your tongue. It was forked in two.

With scales as skin. Cold blooded reptile that you have become.

Vile. Slithering about. Heart purely venomous.

Feasting off rodents and road kill.

As you slithered your way back and forth Into my world.

No shed skin will change who you are.

A slithering snake. Fake. Face it. Embrace it.

And go slither on back to your Snake Pit.
