Snap Back

Torn between two and one,
lost in the drudgery of ecstasy
and the mess of heart and mind;
such draining of energy
I can't see the end.
But it's near,
closer everyday.

Fog lifting by morning's sun.
Painted with my blood;
tears like razor blades
you pushed them deeper.

My heart welded shut;
your smile, the devil's toy.
But I, I will snap back,
as you snap closed,
for you are torn
between you and one.
