I read once,
That the snow,
Has a special silencing property.
So I sat back,
And thought about,
Those few hours
When the busy city sounds
Would become muffled
Beneath mother nature’s blanket
And I remembered
All those snowy nights
That I’d stare outside,
my window open,
And feel the cool flakes
Melt on my face.
And I’d think to myself,
A moment of peace.
