Snow globe

I hold a world inside my hand,
so small and delicate, yet grand.

Diamonds sparkle under the moon
while the music box plays a tune.

Tiny lights reflect each star
from up above, near and far.

So beautiful and so serene,
reflective of a winters scene.

Shake it up and watch it snow,
fragments of heaven fall to and fro.

Get lost inside its’ magic appeal,
It isn’t a dream, yet it’s so surreal.

There is no other world I know
that is more enchanting than that of snow.

A world I hold inside my palm
that stills my soul and makes me calm.
