Snowflake

I watched as the sparkling snowflake
Fell from the gray skies above
And icicles everywhere you looked.
I looked at my hand and saw a snowflake
Land on my hand
And the winter wind blew more snowflakes around.
And I saw a bundle of snow on the ground
That kept me shivering
With the winter wind howling all around.
When a dog barked,
I saw a rabbit in the snow.
And outside in the cold winter wind
A snowman was being built
By children, across the street,
Whose cheeks were as rosy as a rose.
And inside the the fire was crackling
Yellow and red,
Where I retired to a nice cozy bed.
