December is almost near and I can see your last smile so clear.
November was your favorite time of year,
the smell of the turkey and giving thanks
children laughing and saying grace always put a smile on your face.
I can still see it all so clear.
So clear, the color of the star light sky when you went down.
the sound of your voice when you made me your last call,
so clear the sound of my mothers voice when she told me the news.
It all came out so clear.
I can still hear your voice so clear.
Your laugh was enough to silence a room, it was so clear.
I can remember you and me climbing that mountain at midnight
to see the valley lights,
it was all so clear.
So clear like the night I would never see you again,
so clear the tears pouring down my face.
I can see it still all so clear,
like the day you looked me in the eye and
said you would love me til the end of time.
I can see it all so clear.
Its been two year, but I can still see you so clear!

This Poems Story
A Montana home-grown woman, born and raised. Thank you everyone who has helped me make it this far. My mother Tracy, my father Jay, my husband Anrich, and my other mothers Melinda and Shelby. Every one of you believed in me. My best friends Kelsey, Colleen, and Parker. Through every road bump and achievement, you all are amazing. The inspiration behind this poem comes from the past. Someone who was my mentor, best friend, and most of all lessons learned in life.
