So Small

Small Hands and Feet

Remember when cleaning up after your children
they won't always be this size, they're growing
Remember to cherish handprints on the wall
For they will not always be so small
Walls can be cleaned or painted over
But babies and children just get older
Tiny hands and feet are so very sweet
and make your world feel complete

But those tiny feet are growing
and hands are growing too,
Just yesterday you seemed to be brand new
Memories are made to last because
children grow up way too fast.
Your time with them this small will not last
Try not to worry much about cleaning
Just remember time moves so very fast

A child being this size is growing quickly,
lightening fast indeed
Such an amazing speed
And will soon be antiquity
