So Young

She lies in bed so young so new
So scared and so alone
There's nothing they can do for her
And she just wants to go home

How fair is life to this sweet girl
When it starts and then it's done
I'd like to know-please tell me how
This happens to one so young

No high school prom or college days
No thrill of that first kiss
How fair is this to one so pure
All the fun in life she'll miss

But I trust that God has made a place
Where she'll play, she'll laugh, she'll be loved
To give her what she's lost down here
How I pray it's there above
