Social Isolation

Social interactions for me are lonely,
Oh if only.
Company is hard to come by,
Isolation makes me want to die.
Addicted to fitting in,
Losing myself to commit a deadly sin.

Internet is mostly to blame,
Surely, others feel the same.
Others who just want peace,
Letting their pain finally cease.
Alone here on Earth,
The way it was since birth.
I long for a friend,
One on who I can depend,
Now until my untimely end.
