Social Issues

We do not have time
We do not have time to be afraid to speak out
To speak up
Time is slipping
Silence kills
How many people
Continue to be prosecuted
In this day and age
For practicing religion
Standing up for morals
Slaughtered due to sexual preference
How many infants
Are presently being touched by a sick relative
for "only the first time"
How many fathers
Haven't matured they've the strength
to face the life they designed
Not to be confused
The wounds separating one's tissues
are not exact replicas of the issues
one may possess
In simplicity, this coverup
Is analogous to a Band-Aid
with a beautiful image of Dora on the cover
asking me where are the maps
When 1/3 of the nation is asking
"Where's my dad?"
Now, let's say it in Spanish!
¿Dónde está mi papá?
Where has he been?
