Society

They say we are "too quiet"
But we're quiet because we would be in jail if we weren't.
They say we are "too ugly"
Yet we don't call people ugly names like they do

They tell us we are "too depressing"
But they don't know we're sad from their hateful words
They tell us we are "too emotional"
Yet they don't know what we've been through,

They tell us we are "too good"
But it's not our fault we don't want a bad reputation,
They tell us we are "too weak"
Yet they don't know what we're capable of.

They tell us we are "too kind"
But my mind says otherwise,
They tell us we are "too stupid"
Yet we have never failed a class once.

They tell us we are "too clueless"
But we know exactly who we are.
We are the ones that society judges till we break
And they're society
