Soldier At War

I hear the foot steps amongst the sand,
I hear the clinking of their gun,
I slowly move away for safety,
Cuz their battle is about to be done.
Wearin their foreign colors,
In a land i want to leave,
Trying to save my life from the bullets,
Just show me that you believe.
I am an American soldier,
In a place full of blood and tears,
Hearing the cries of dying people,
Lingering in my ears.
I dont wish this upon anybody,
To fight in a war thats not ment to be,
But i will do this for all of you,
So you can live happy and free.
