Solitary

I ride the wild and lashing wind
Through canyons that's never been
In my mind I travel bold
And this way anywhere is my goal

I wander through the moon's silver glow
Leaves sparkle from the winds gentle blow
From my youth a lifetime past
I can relive this to make it last

I watch the water swirl all around
The jungle river I nearly drown
Somewhere deep buried within my mind
All these things I remember and find

To keep my sanity and travel on
I ride my mind through shadows long
As steel hits steel and locks shut tight
I survive this prison through the long dark night
