Solitude

Wandering through the endless garden
in the solitude of the unforgiving night
the melody of the silence
bequeath my soul the darkest serene.
The fragrance of the lily
carries me through the hopeless glen.
The mellifluous song of the nightingale
beguiled me into a tranquil trance.
The gleaming stars in the heavens
allured my heart into a beauteous bliss.
And nature revealed to me the greatest secret,
Surely my soul, it's beautiful to be alone.
