Some Days

I walked and walked, trying not to talk
Talk to myself, as I had nothing worthy to say.
I walked and walked, trying not to look
Look inside, and not wanting to stay.
I walked and walked, trying not to slip
Slip into my cavity of dismay.
I walked and walked , trying not to be afraid
Afraid of what I believed the truth that may.

But then, I walked and walked, trying to listen
Listen to echoes of when I laughed.
I walked and walked, trying to skip
Skip over my troubles imagined.
I walked and walked, trying to grasp
Grasp that it’s okay today happened.

I walked and walked, till I found my way back
Back to recognise, some days are these, others are yet be dawned.

    This Poems Story

Simple story. Sitting at my desk at work, and feeling a weird but familiar heaviness. It comes and goes. Just a pep talk to myself that there are days like these but better ones ahead! Let me know if you guys have those days!
