Someone Who Cared

She was drowning in emotions
She was sick of all the pain
She had tried to make it better
But it always stayed the same

They all told her she was worthless
To depressed to be around
They all turned their backs
And left her to drown

When she couldn't take it anymore
She knew what had to be done
She wrote down her final words
Tears falling as she grips the gun

Her life flashed before her eyes
As she brought the gun up to her head
With one last breath she pulled the trigger
And fell to the floor dead

She'd never wanted it to end this way
But she had been alone and scared
In the end all she had ever wanted
Was just someone who cared.
