Something About Hindsight

noticing a texture in your skin
while you avoid touching me.
with no way of knowing
in the future i'll look back on this moment
and feel a strange sense of nostalgia.
misplaced, but there
nonetheless. the feeling
of a hand
on a hand
on a hand.
in this moment i am laughing
while you gaze at my limbs.
neither of us knowing
i will rake my hands through you
and watch you disintegrate.
the feeling of a hand
on blood
on bone.
