Something So Common

I sensed something was off,
When my lungs decided to make me cough.

The tightness I felt so constricting,
Was caused by the thoughts so conflicting.

The needles I felt so much that night,
Has left my spirit in such a fright.

The day after was not the best,
As I walked to school with a pain in my chest.

What was suppose to be a day so great,
Was abruptly ended when I felt the headache.

The amount of anxiety I felt was out of the range,
Because this event in particular had my life change.

Though I am not the only one to go through this,
The signs of an attack like that can't be missed.

So to anyone who goes through a panic attack,
Just know that its those who love you that have your back.

This Poems Story

Just a poem describing one of the worst panic attacks I have ever had. It was really intense, and really just intimidating.
