Something Stronger

We’re a family
Not by blood
But by something stronger
We’re held together by the very core of our bones
and the tears on our cheeks
We suffered together
We cried together
And we conquered together
United we fall
Or stand
Because you hurt one of us
And you hurt all of us
You can take a piece
You take the plenty
Our weakest link was forged in the belly of Hell
And our strongest could’ve bonded the Earth to Atlas’s back
We are born of something stronger
And scarier
And deadlier
Than anything you’ll ever lay you eyes on
Because as broken as we are
Together we’re a mountain
Large
And unshakable
Defeat does nothing to us
But bring us back better than before
Because
We’re a family
Not by blood
But by something stronger
By choice
