Songbirds

Songbirds
By James S. Smith

From here to there,
The Birds flew gracefully in the air
My, my, they can fly!
They flew very far;
O’ see how colorful they are!

They can be in red, yellow, and blue
Why, they can be in all different colors, too
Hear the Birds’ tweet;
It’s a fine treat,
It’s very sweet!

They whistled with glee
And they flew from tree to tree;
Going to places that they want to be
With nothing going wrong,
They sing with a glamorous song.

They sang and they sang all day,
It’s fun all the way!
Everyone wanted to play;
Hooray! Hooray!
What a wonderful day!
