Sonnet 21

Sonnet 21

"I loved you" in the pain of memories past
Three drops of blood staining the palm of your hand
The shadow of history that will always last
A teardrop consumed by the desert sand

Whispering "I love you" in present day
A wonderful felling, a kiss in the rain
The memories of the past are fading away
The here right now is worth the pain.

Hoping for 'I love you" in the future's pages
Wishing for what destiny has in store
Believing in a love story to last all ages
Wanting, wishing, waiting for forever more.

In the present, past, and future love's a preserving sweet
Sparking fire but erasing hell when two lovers meet.
