Sorry, Bad Dream

In the night They woke from a nightmare
Trapped under the weight of the moons glare
A flash of light
Feeling not right
Staying awake for now to be spared

The hollow ghost on hallowed ground
Speaks in words that make no sound
To run to flee
To go be Free
Their feet are stuck root-bound to the ground

Awake again the moon is gone
The night is singing its last song
The sun is rising
The silence falling
The world is waking and nothing is wrong
