Sorry, I\'m Not Like Every Other Girl
I'm sorry.
I'm not like every other girl.
Sorry, I don't have a height to where every guy can lay their chain on my head.
Sorry, I don't have a body every guy wants to look at.
Sorry, I don't have the skin every guy wants to run their hands down.
Sorry, I don't have the eyes every guy wants to look in.
Sorry, I don't have the lips and forehead every guy wants to kiss.
I'm sorry, I don't have the hands every guy wants to hold.
Or the hair every guy wants to run their fingers through.
I am sorry that the scars of my past keep me from opening up.
Sorry, I'm not like every other girl.
Sorry, I don't have the smile that brightens every guy's world.
I'm sorry, I don't have the style everyone is jealous of.
But tho I'm not like every other girl, I love who I am.
I love my long, curly brown hair.
I love my hazel green eyes.
I somewhat love my height.
I love my style.
I love my smile.
And I especially love that I'm unique, and NOT like EVERY OTHER GIRL!!

This Poems Story
I have always compared myself to every girl I see. Whether good or bad, I always saw my flaws and compared them. Like \"I wish I were that skinny.\" or \"I wish I were that pretty.\" Even \"I was I had a boyfriend like that or could get a boyfriend.\" In my other poem, \"Flaws,\" I say everything I\'m insecure about and how I\'m learning to love them because no one, and I mean NO ONE, goes flawless. So, to all the girls out there or reading my poem, don\'t compare yourself to others because you are beautiful in your own way. So, own your uniqueness and love it and love your flaws.
