Sorry Mom

Each and every morning,
She tries to look her best.
She puts on her best clothes,
No holes today,
Her mother's makeup rests on her soft
Angelic face, tears glistened.
Mother, I'm sorry
I hurt you so deeply.
I should have listened.
Why must this be?
I miss you so sincerely,
All in black for
The special day,
In somber moods,
She finds her fam'ly,
Now one less.
She becomes"mother,"
With makeup resting on her soft
Angelic face, tears glistened,
I took you so deeply
For granted, didn't listen,
Why must this be?
I miss you so sincerely.
