Soul Light

The cold air surrounds her as she lights the darkness around her
The fire in her soul keeping the thoughts away
Smirking as she says not tonight demons
She wasn’t looking, when she sees him
She was surprised to see his soul cut from the same cloth as hers.
Their lives completely different, but their wave lengths similar.
Taking her hand they shine brighter as they eliminate the darkness in each other.
The air around them warm up
Pushing each other farther into the light.
The fire in her warming him
The water in him, not diminishing her, but keeping her from burning herself out.
He touched her mind in a way no one had before.
Her mind calmed when he was near
Her fears silenced, anger lessened
In the end she was his
He was hers
