Soulful

He pleaded to his half as he held back a leg
Lying on the ground from where he struggled
He knew he couldn't live without his half
And a survival was all he wished for.

Giving up was not an option
He had to make known his request
Fear gripped him as his half walked along
He had earlier made an unwise decision.

He was wounded but still needed forgiveness
Hope was not far reached and he knew for sure
It wasn't too late to correct his mistakes
'Wait please will you?' he pleaded.

His movement stiff and at ease he wasn't
He needed support
Didn't know it would cost this much
The chapter that had opened a room for a blow.

Pain had set in and become a bed
His inner man that spoke peace was silent
Trouble spoke now Instead
Having a blessed soul was all he desired.

Yet wrong choices had been made
But life at will, and he needed to reinstate
A second chance was all he sought
He felt nothing but emptiness and regret.

'Carry me along now my beloved half'
He was soaked in deep breath of uncertainty and soulfulness
Generalized on a resentful result
Full of confusion.

He confessed his fault
He was ready to accept the unknown journey
his half had chosen
Trust was not an issue now
Help was just all he needed.
