Soulmates

There was always an Us.
Sometimes You, never a Me.
Without you I'm a shell, thin, frail, empty.
Containing barely a breath
I lay awake all night
contemplating life alone...
Dear God "I'm living death"
I can't bear it any longer
I've had enough!
Without you my mate
I'm soulless,
a barren, empty Guff.
