Speak

As I speak, may my words stir the dust in the confines of your mind...
May my warmth thaw the ice that your heart remains prisoner to...
Raise your idle hands and rub the sleep from your eyes...
See me clearly...
See my intentions and my hesitations...
Feel the weight of my love...
Is it a burden to you?
Does it lay heavily about your shoulders?
Or does it lift you up?
If you were suddenly without it, would you crumble?
No......I think not....
I think that my love is a given to you,
My strengths are suddenly my weaknesses,
My faults multiplied in order to soft peddle your own...
Yet the intensity of my resolve remains unmatched...
No matter how dark it gets,
My flame only seems to burn brighter,
May my light illuminate the path I desperately seek...
