Speak to Me Again
Sometimes when it's silent I hear you speak to me.
Quietly whispering sweet memories in my ear.
You illustrate them leaving them as they be.
I should have said that it was my worst fear;
You leaving, dying, deserting me here.
But I promised I wouldn't shed a single tear.
Haunting me once again.. I will scream to drown it out;
The beautiful melody of your voice..
The way you smelled surrounds me without a doubt,
Making it seem as if you were actually here with that voice.
Our memories come flooding back in full detail,
Bringing me all the feelings I felt for each one,
The one that lasts the longest is when we had failed.
Our love, our world, and now us, It's all done..
Your silent voice creates my skin to chill,
But the feel of your lips pressed on mine gives me will.
To fight through my pain. Your ghostly lips.
I should know by now that not anymore do they exist.
Speak to me Again.
