Speaking Mountains to Molehills
Looking you in the eye troubles me
I am afraid of what you think of me
You stare me down with such courage
Not one twitch, not one blink.
Confidence is easy for you.
Comfort for me is like a blank wall
Comfort for you is like an amusement park
Speaking my mind is easy
No one listening is my fear
Everyone listening to you is normal
For me it is like pigs flying
I have mountains to say but an empty room to hear it
Your words are an appendix but your audience is a heart
Hand me your heart and let me speak mountains to it.
