Spectacles of a Bard

Autumn auroras beget death cards
to a poet’s cosmos.
Blurring the art of glacial horizons,
morning sea brume and countryside wisterias.
Clad with the visage of clover among trees,
a gem’s born of miniatures,
dainty splatter of ink like Shakespeare’s─
a vision of freedom lost in formats.
