Mouths move spewing speculation
Lack of attention probably
So selfish, you think he even considered family
Depression, happens to young kids now
I think I heard he was anxious
He didn’t have many friends, poor thing
Always quiet you know
If only he had found God

Some of these people I recognize, most I don’t
For the first time everyone has gathered to help-
Solve a problem
The one I spent my life trying to solve
Each conversation revolves around why I did it
I listen carefully to see if any of them get it right
Everyone is so concerned now
Heavy hearts they say
Strangers sob
Those who I asked for help seem to have forgotten-
As they scream at my coffin, “why?”
