Spellbound Fate

Whisper in the breeze
I hear the voice
The skeleton trees flick the mist
That holds me in binding
Again it calls, but I cannot see
For night's shadows creep upon sanity
Driven into this forest by my ritual
Icy fog is the only boundary
That separates me from doom
Onto the deadened floor
Agony of rejection is replaced by fear
As that voice calls out
More sinister in resonance
Is this my Master, calling me to home?
The pleasant lull He spoke to me in prayer
Thrusts my heart into my throat in this moment of confusion
Smoke choking my breath, a warning of my plight
Lapses me into a daze and seals my judgment
Supernatural power ceases as reality sets in
I am no more human than my enemies
