Splendid Measures

Can life be measured by unlimited means or limited but consistent?
Like going to a car show or with good Broadway tickets.
Then treating yourself to a sweet indulgence.
Bad habits here, maxing out cards there.
Who would say they noticed.
With plenty of friends in my ear.
All their smiles gets my attention.
With a time share we all just paid.
And Splendid times with a few good friends, enjoying wine and cigars that way.
