Stage Fright

People are drawing in closer to me, I can't stand it.
Too many surrounding me and yet I am a nobody.
Do they notice me standing here in the middle of their gathering?
Do they know I'm the reason they're all here? One Mississippi...
Barely able to move, trying to break free. Two Mississippi...
My claustrophobia is kicking in. Three Mississippi...
Here comes my anxiety. Four Mississippi...
I can hardly breath. Five Mississippi...
They're staring at me now. Six Mississippi...
I must make my speech. Seven Mississippi...
Going on stage I look down at my feet. Eight Mississippi...
I get to the microphone all eyes are on me. Nine Mississippi...
I opened my mouth to speak, closed my eyes for a moment...
Icould finally breath.Ten Mississippi...
The words flowed as I spoke.
