Standing In The Sea

the red moon dances at my shoulders
as the tide webs in between my toes
the soul of the empty sailors nipping at my shins

the deep sand slowly swallowing my heals
as the wind's finger gently plays with my heart
the black ocean fades to white at my stance

the current begging me to embrace its whole
as the horizon begins to tarnish,
and my mind begins to flourish.
