Star Gazer

By Da Poet

As night takes over the sky, like motionless white light bugs stars do shine
As the moon takes on various forms, from dusk until the dawn
A streaking bright light you rarely see, is regurgitated from the galaxy
Spectacular transformations stay loyal to their spaces as we sleep

Mystically rotating on its axis, bringing the sun back to the masses
A huge glowing sphere of hot gas, this fireball will heat you fast
A twist of fate caused the great light to disappear, up above was no longer clear
Like a large cotton ball set on high, turned dark as the sky started to cry

This maze of fog which disrupts our view, such a cloudy picture I paint for you
As the wind brushes clouds away, streams of colorful light set off a brilliant display
Like the calm after a storm, a fabulous rainbow did adorn
A weather watchers sight to see, as Mother Nature has been set free
