Stargazing

One night as I gazed into the sky
Seeing the numerous stars twinkling above,
I began to wonder how and why
Such a sight could be thought of.
Whether you are looking at the stars, or a simple dove
God's presence is everywhere you look.
From the finest works of art, to the deepest expressions of love,
God's presence could be found in a book.
But why did God make this world we frequently overlook?
Some things we will never know.
Up above, I see a constellation shaped like a fish hook
With a faint yellowish glow.
It is nice to know we are part of God's grace,
Floating through this thing we call space.
