Starry Night

I'm standing outside, looking up to the starry night.
It's quiet, peaceful and beautiful.
But it isn't right, at least not quite.

I think I need you and I just might.
I miss you, but I know that you don't, as usual.
I'm standing outside, looking up to the starry night.

I love you; you were such a perfect sight.
You will always be amazingly wonderful.
But it isn't right, at least not quite.

I should have known, because ever since she came into your life
I stopped being in yours, and its indisputable.
I'm standing outside, looking up to the starry night

I can't sleep at night
Because every time I close my eyes, I see your face, so youthful.
But it isn't right, at least not quite.

You walked away from me tonight
I should have known, everything you said was inexcusable.
I'm standing outside, looking up to the starry night
But it isn't right, at least not quite.
