She is a dreamer caught in a nightmare,
Craving what she should not seek.
You are her sunshower.
Your cruel, angry words hail down, like hammers hitting the pavement.
Afterwards, you try to heal those wounds with kind words
That she knows you don't mean
But believes anyway.
You called her a star
But little do you know,
That stars eventually burn out.
