Stars of the Night Sky

We are all just stars,
In heaven's night sky,
To children looking afar,
Believing a beautiful lie.

"They all become stars, after they die"
Said the mother to the child, with a natural sigh.

Darkness surrounds us, twinkling stars,
Unknowingly hiding our temporary scars.
But no one notices the permanent marks,
And we keep comparing whose more dark.

Do we have someone to blame ?
That we all forget,
There is one sky, and darkness remains the same.

Same sorrows, same fears,
Yet different names, but, same tears.

We're all together, in one night sky.
Sharing sorrows and joys, without bidding goodbye.
