Stay Forever Stay

Once your hand touched mine
my heart bestowed a tingle
your breath caressed my cheek
and, at last, my favorite jingle

For as I sat there yearning
within your incandescent glee
to what do I owe this pleasure
for your heart eternally?

What have I done so deserving
for an angel from above?
A whisper came with a smile
you gave to me your love

Your love so warm and serving
how can I ever repay?
Digging down into the earth
as if to give it birth
I spelled three little words
stay forever stay
