Staying Up Late

Expectations and a closing statement
More paper is given, a standardized mayhem
A deadline awaits with days of insomnia
Another wave of intense nausea

What thoughts can process under this much pressure
Yet my fingers started typing much, much faster
I'm nearly finished, reaching a closure
There is no time to look this over

A miracle is needed to prevent my grade's demise
The least I could do is make it out alive
However, I'll need some advice
Let's search up on Google "How to survive"
"Be a stellar student"
As if that wasn't obvious
Why else would I be here if my grades were victorious

Each passing hour darkens my circles
I should go to sleep, I'm not nocturnal
