Stigma

I am the wrong turn taken
I am the back ache aching
I am the rule worth breaking
I am the knoll worth shaking

I am the wrong decision
I am the wrong incision
I am the wrong division
I am the wrong petition

I am the race against time
I am the mink soaked In grime
I am the unscripted chime
I am the oft wasted prime

I am the fattened scapegoat
I am the broken death oath
I am the choke I’m the throat
I am the flaw in the vote

I am the blinded good eye
I am the tears no one cry
I am the years that flew by
While I wondered—who am I?
